Plug-ins:SymbolObjects

Use the "SymbolObject" tool to create a parametric object of a symbol.

The SymbolObject acts as a smart container for symbols. This allows more complex object behaviour on top of static symbols.

Functionality

The Symbol Object contains several features which you can use to:

• Display the symbol on multiple layers at once.
• Attach a smart label with custom fields.
• Register relative and absolute position of the object.
• Find out in which space/polygon it is placed.

Usage examples

• Show shaft/stair annotations on multiple levels, originating from one source.
• Show project coordinates.
• Use advanced tags on your custom symbols.
• Locate objects for detailed quantity takeoffs. For instance a list of rooms that contain baths. Each symbolobject is aware of it's location.
